hi bruno,
i put a new sema.bin on your directory on hpls01. it fixes a zoom bug that i
had been unaware of ... it only happened when you had a signal near the center
frequency on the 4th channel of an input SCA .... i had nothing connected to
the fourth channel and missed this problem ... it was pointed out to me by
someone doing QA here. i doubt if this will solve your problem, but you can
try it.

i still have not been able to reproduce your problems. i tried x2.07 on a
v743 system with the zoom.c demo and it worked fine ... no dma or i2c errors.

the 256K mapping with your module is correct ... i have an old module which
has the 1Meg mapping and it is not correct, but seems to have no ill effect
on anything.

i noticed that you had a 4Meg module(DRAM) and i have been using a 32Meg
module; so i got a 4Meg module, but still am not able to duplicate your
problem.

one of the people doing QA on the E1432 code has seen an occasional i2c error,
but has not be able to reliably repeat it ... he is working on finding a
sequence of commands that will reliably duplicate the i2c error. when he
does, i will have the basis to work on this problem.

i will continue to work on this problem, but it is difficult when i can not
duplicate it.
